How the Conference League draw works

Conference League draw pots 2026/27 (projected)

The 36 clubs in the UEFA Conference League league phase, seeded into 6 pots by UEFA club coefficient. Until the play-off round is finished this is our projection: qualified clubs plus, for every open play-off tie, the side our simulation favours.

How hard is your draw? Our verdict

For every draw we compute the average strength (Elo) of the opponents and rank it against thousands of simulated draws for the same lineup. The percentile tells you what share of possible draws are easier than yours, and the verdict follows from it:

Frequently asked questions

Is the Conference League draw simulator free?

Yes. Your first draw needs nothing at all; to keep drawing, see the opponent probabilities and download or share your draw we ask for an email address once.

Who can my club draw in the Conference League?

Any club from another association, one from every pot, with at most two opponents from the same country. The simulator shows the probability of facing each club, based on thousands of simulated draws of the exact lineup.

Are the probabilities exact?

No - they are simulated. Exact values under UEFA's procedure cannot be computed in closed form for a 36-club draw, so we run thousands of draws; each figure carries a small margin (about ±2 percentage points at 2,000 draws) and shifts slightly between runs.

What happens after the real draw?

Once UEFA has made the official draw the page shows the real fixtures next to the simulation, so you can see how your club's actual draw compares with what it could have been.
