Champions League Draw Simulator 2026/27
Pick your club and simulate the UEFA Champions League league-phase draw exactly the way UEFA's draw software does it. Every simulated draw respects the official draw rules, you can flip the play-off ties that are still open, watch the opponents come out one by one, see how likely each opponent is, get a verdict on how hard your draw is, and share it as an image or a link. Free - no account needed.
How the Champions League draw works
- 36 clubs, seeded into 4 pots by UEFA club coefficient (title holder in Pot 1);
- each club is drawn against two opponents from every pot - one at home, one away (8 matches in total);
- never an opponent from your own association;
- at most two opponents from any single association;
- pairings UEFA keeps apart are excluded (Armenia-Azerbaijan, Kosovo-Serbia, Kosovo-Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine-Belarus, Gibraltar-Spain);
- opponents are drawn club by club, pot by pot, only among options that keep the whole draw completable - the same principle UEFA's software uses.

How hard is your draw? Our verdict
For every draw we compute the expected points your club would take from the slate, using the same Elo-based win / draw / loss model and home advantage as our league-phase simulator (clubs that host abroad - Ukraine, Belarus, Israel - get no home advantage in their home games), and rank it against thousands of simulated draws for the same lineup. Because a strong club expects many points from any draw, we show the figure relative to your club's own average draw and as a percentile: the share of possible draws that are easier than yours. The verdict follows from the percentile:
- Dream draw - easier than 90% of possible draws
- Kind draw - 10-30%
- Balanced draw - 30-70%
- Tough draw - 70-90%
- Nightmare draw - harder than 90% of possible draws
Frequently asked questions
Is the Champions League draw simulator free?
Yes. Your first draw needs nothing at all; to keep drawing, see the opponent probabilities and download or share your draw we ask for an email address once.
Who can my club draw in the Champions League?
Any club from another association, two from every pot (one home, one away), with at most two opponents from the same country. The simulator shows the probability of facing each club, based on thousands of simulated draws of the exact lineup.
Are the probabilities exact?
No - they are simulated. Exact values under UEFA's procedure cannot be computed in closed form for a 36-club draw, so we run thousands of draws; each figure carries a small margin (about ±2 percentage points at 2,000 draws) and shifts slightly between runs.
What happens after the real draw?
Once UEFA has made the official draw the page shows the real fixtures next to the simulation, so you can see how your club's actual draw compares with what it could have been.
